To keep it short, my relationship rules so much. It still blows my mind that I’m this lucky. Continuously falling in love over and over, again, with your best friend is the coolest thing in the world.
THIS. I love this girl with all my heart.
pancakessays asked: Little dude?! Tomas from Foundation is like 6'3.
He doesn’t look that big
I just want my little brother to come to shows!
arejandro asked: I think its an attitude and a sound. I guess the best way to put it, the bands I like to listen to, are punk bands that are inspired by power pop, and you listen to punk bands that are inspired by more aggressive sounds like trash. does that sound about right?
I suppose so man. I just like Power Trip.
arejandro asked: Yeah, I don't pretend to know what hardcore is. All I know is hardcore/punk is different than punk. Minor Threat/Black Flag what have you is different than the Buzzcocks/Undertones/Adverts what have you that I listen to. I respect the hardcore movement, but i dont like the sound of it honestly. So anytime you hear me say "punk", remember, i'm not thinking the same as you are.
That’s the thing :3 You are thinking the same thing. Punk is used to broadly describe punk and hardcore but, when talk specifics, they aren’t the same thing at all. In all honesty though, I think punk is more of an attitude than a sound.
arejandro asked: check out the two bands that I posted. One's called The Briefs, and the other are The Biters. Honestly, you probably won't think they're "punk". But that was my point, punk's definition has changed, because of hardcore. I think hardcore is punk logic, with thrash metal sound. Granted, to many people out there, they think exactly like i do. Plenty of underground punk bands still play off the 70s punk sound, but make it sound modern. Thats what punk is to me. Hardcore is punk, without the punk.
Well, I think you are kind of missing it. Hardcore took the punk attitude and made it agressive. Granted now there are two ways to describe a “hardcore” band. Hardcore is now more of it’s own thing and then you have hardcore/punk which is essentially where bands are playing the same style as when hardcore started. Think Minor Threat, Millions Of Dead Cops, DYS, etc.
